H.R.6720, introduced by Reps Jamie Raskin, Md., and Victoria Spartz, Ind. 

This legislation, which passed Congress in the 2022 omnibus package, authorizes the Thomas Paine Memorial Association to establish a memorial to Paine in the District of Columbia. No public money can be used in the development, construction, or maintenance of the Memorial. The project received a unanimous endorsement by the National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission.
