FFRF Action Fund is pleased to endorse Debra Fuller in her bid for Saline County justice of the peace, District 13.

Fuller is running against Republican incumbent Karen Crowson, who highlights that she is “the Pro-Life, Common Sense, Conservative, candidate.” Fuller is part of a coalition that bolsters progressive candidates running against ultra-red incumbents. The coalition is committed to long-term building, looking toward a multiyear effort to elect progressive candidates in Arkansas.

Fuller entered civic activism after Project 2025’s plan for a government takeover was exposed ahead of the 2024 election. In response to the threats to democracy, Fuller helped form a local Indivisible group to bolster voter turnout and overall civic participation in her community. The Indivisible chapter also helps organize mutual aid efforts.

Fuller asserts that Arkansas officials attempt to hide their religiously-based takeover ofthe laws and regulations, but her coalition diligently monitors their efforts and is prepared to fight back. As justice of the peace, Fuller would ensure that any policies up for consideration in District 13 are void of any religious influence.

Fuller is nonreligious. State/church issues top of mind for Fuller include safeguarding public libraries and diverse materials, ensuring women’s reproductive health care is accessible and keeping religious doctrine out of public schools.

The FFRF Action Fund joins the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund and the Pro Arkansas Women PAC in endorsing Fuller.
