Kennedy Jr.’s Jan. 29 hearing for heading the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed the fears of many Americans: He is deeply unqualified for the position — and his views on vaccines and public health would unquestionably endanger the lives of every resident of America. If pseudoscience is allowed a space in the federal government, national health emergencies will be challenging not only to stop but even prevent. Tell your legislators not to approve Kennedy.
During his hearing, Kennedy “agreed” with President Trump that “every abortion is a tragedy.” He also made the bogus claim that there were 1.2 million abortions in America every year, and repeated Trump’s campaign lie about ending “late-term abortions.” These are talking points straight from Project 2025 in an attempt to instill dogmatic control over pregnant bodies. Kennedy’s views on vaccines are just as bad, with a history of frequently questioning the efficacy of vaccines and even contributing to drops in vaccination rates. Kennedy is clearly aiming at dismantling the science-based research qualified individuals have worked on for years while he pursued conspiracy theories and spread misinformation in 2020 about the Covid-19 pandemic. Americans simply cannot afford to take the risk with Kennedy. Fight back against pseudoscience today!
