A Trump-era regulation is due to be rescinded by the Department of Postsecondary Education! Please tell the department that you’re in support of this policy reversal.
The current regulation prohibits colleges receiving department funds from denying benefits to religious student groups based on the group’s religious beliefs. This fostered grounds for discrimination so long as there could be religious justification behind it. This was an unjustified overreach and has no business being a part of the Department of Postsecondary Education.
