Women’s health needs your advocacy!
Tomorrow, March 20th, the Assembly Committee on Community Development and Women’s Affairs will be hearing Assembly Bill 3418, which protects various aspects of women’s reproductive rights. As Christian nationalist attacks on women’s health care continue, it is vitally important for New Jersey to keep women safe. Please act today!
A 3418 authorizes the governor to enter the state into a compact with other states to protect reproductive health care, including things such as working to stop information about health care from being shared with states that have antiabortion healthcare. This great bill protects women’s healthcare providers from being investigated or having legal action taken against their licensing for aiding women in reproductive healthcare. After Roe v. Wade was overturned, Christian nationalists have fought to have more and more control over women’s bodies and their right to choose to have an abortion if needed. This dogmatic worldview has caused harm to both women and abortion providers, changing the landscape of women’s healthcare. By passing this bill, New Jersey will stand with pro-choice advocates, keeping them safe from bad faith actors who want to force Christian conformity. We need your help to ensure that New Jersey is a safe place for reproductive health care!
Again, this bill will be heard very soon, so please act now! We have included talking points through the “Take Action” button that you can edit to your liking.
