Maine lawmakers are attacking vaccines!
Six bills are headed to the Joint Education and Cultural Affairs Committee that would have dangerous impacts on public health. Take action today and support science-based medicine in Maine.
LD 51, LD 869, LD 1098, LD 1148, LD 1209 and LD 1228 are all designed to offer religious exemptions to vaccines, both for children and adults. These are dangerous bills that do not take public health into account, but rather prioritize the comfort of religious individuals believing in pseudoscience. Religious exemptions to vaccines open the door to a future public health crisis being worse than the last. Don’t let public health be optional in Maine!
