An Oklahoma bill seeks to dangerously expand religious privileges! Senate Bill 404 will be heard by the House Committee on State Powers on Wednesday, April 5. Take action today to ensure that nonreligious voices aren’t silenced!

SB 404 gives religious individuals an advantage over secular residents by creating a blanket “religious exemption” for laws. With the pandemic still fresh in the minds of many across the country, it is clear that Christians in Oklahoma are seeking preferential treatment to keep their doors open while ignoring any common sense government intervention.

Religious freedom is a cornerstone of our democracy. Proposed legislation such as SB 404 makes a mockery of such freedoms. Please contact the members of the committee to vote no on SB 404 so that the public good of Oklahomans is not overshadowed by the perversion of religious preference.

This bill will be heard on April 5, so please don’t wait to take action! We have provided suggested language through the “Take Action” button, which can be customized to your liking. For best results, please be succinct and polite.
