Almost $10 million worth of birth control supplies are at risk of being destroyed by our federal government! Please contact the Senate Foreign Relations and House Foreign Affairs Committee members today to keep valuable medical equipment from going to waste.

The Trump administration is planning to destroy a stockpile of contraceptive medications being warehoused in Europe, such as IUDs and birth control implants, as part of its war on freedom of choice. The administration has defunded USAID under the guise of “cutting fraud, waste and abuse,” yet the incineration of these items would cost some $167,000.

To prevent this, S. 2252 and HR 4516 have been introduced in an attempt to ensure these supplies are put to their intended use. Without these bills, taxpayer dollars will literally be going to waste, all to push an explicitly religious agenda. This is just the latest step in the Christian nationalist movement to strip women of bodily autonomy after the overturn of Roe v. Wade in 2022. This plan comes right out of the Project 2025 playbook, created by the Heritage Foundation, to impose anti-abortion, anti-contraceptive dogma. As pressure from foreign nations piles on, freethinkers need to tell the government that this action is unacceptable! (For more details, read this)
