Before sneaking out through a tunnel to avoid constituents who packed the halls of the Capitol in protest, senators advanced LB 574. The bill, which is headed for a final vote later this week, would prohibit gender-affirming care on all individuals under the age of 19. Radical senators pushed through an amendment to the bill that would fully ban abortions. These measures have been denounced by the medical community and the majority of Nebraskans.
