Wisconsin’s April 1 Supreme Court election is coming up fast, and we need your help.
The FFRF Action Fund has endorsed Judge Susan Crawford for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Currently, there is a 4-3 pro-secular majority, but that can easily change with this election. Wisconsin’s Supreme Court plays a huge role in protecting democracy, reproductive rights, and the separation of church and state.
One of the best ways to help her win is by talking to voters — and you can do it from home, from anywhere in the country. On Wednesday, March 12, from 6-8 p.m. Central, we’re teaming up with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin for a virtual phone bank. To join, CLICK HERE.
What to expect:
- Training starts at 6 p.m. Central — no experience needed. Planned Parenthood will walk us through everything.
- We use an auto-dialer, so there’s no dialing numbers or waiting a long time for someone to pick up. You’ll just be connected with voters.
- Every call helps — even if you only have an hour.
You might be thinking:
- “I’ve never done this before.” That’s OK! The training will get you up to speed.
- “I don’t like cold calling.” Not to worry — we’re contacting people who are likely to be supportive, just reminding them about the election and encouraging them to vote.
- “Will this actually make a difference?” Yes. Research shows that personal conversations are among the most effective ways to increase turnout.
This race matters. The eyes of the country are going to be on Wisconsin. Wisconsin’s Supreme Court plays a considerable role in protecting democracy, reproductive rights, and the separation of church and state. Let’s make sure we elect a justice who shares our values. And remember, if you don’t, Elon (who is pouring millions of dollars into Wisconsin in this race) will.
Sign up now and join us on March 12 at 6 p.m. Central.
