Massachusetts students need your advocacy!
An important bill needs support in order to be heard, so please reach out to two committee chairs to ensure that students get an adequate science education.
H 491 will require science classes to feature only peer-reviewed subject matter as topics for study. This is a great bill that will keep religion and other untestable subjects from creeping in and indoctrinating children into beliefs based on religion or pseudoscience. Keep schools secular and science-based!
This bill needs public support to get a vote, so please reach out to the two legislators to give it the best chance. We encourage you to not only write to their office, but to use our automated system to call their offices, as well. For best results, please be succinct and polite.
