Utah lawmakers have undermined public schools!

House Bill 269 has just passed out of the Senate after members there suspended the rules and rushed it through. Now we need the governor to veto this awful legislation! Please take action to keep religion out of public schools!

We have one more chance to stop this blatantly unconstitutional bill, and we need your help! The Senate just cleared the way for HB 269, which would allow public school classrooms to display the Ten Commandments, to go to the governor for signature. This is the last chance to stop this bill from becoming law, so take action today!

HB 269 is a gross violation of the Establishment Clause and a clear endorsement of Christianity. Students in public schools deserve to have an education free of indoctrination.

Please contact Gov. Cox today and tell him to veto the bill! We have included suggested language through the “Take Action” button, which can be customized to your liking. For best results, please be succinct and polite.

(Note: You must live in Utah in order to take part in this action alert.)
